A Jewish wedding videographer falls in love with a klezmer clarinetist and pretends to make a documentary to spend time with her. His fictional project takes him on a real journey through Eastern Europe in search of lost klezmer melodies and remnants of Yiddish culture. A hybrid between documentary and feature film. Winner of the award for best debut film at the Berlin Film Festival.
