Scenario
An agnostic sex podcaster and a newly single rabbi fall in love; finding out if their relationship survives their wildly different lives and meddling families. Originally titled “Shiksa,” which is also the last word spoken in the first episode. This show is intoxicating. The script is funny, witty, and warm. The main characters have great chemistry, and all the supporting characters add their own appreciated flavor. Kristen Bell is one of those actresses who makes the best choices in what she participates in and takes on, and this is no exception. This is a story that makes you want to be a part of her world. Adam Brody’s character is like Seth, but 20 years later: grown-up, mature, and still charmingly funny. I sincerely hope they renew the series and keep giving us more great content. One of my favorite light comedy shows of the year!
