But what if Tim tries to fix not only minor mistakes, but also the final of history? Let's say right away – you have to sweat. If even the main puzzles of BRAID are difficult, then in search of an alternative finale is no wonder and break your head.
We will need eight stars, cunningly hidden throughout the game. Some lurking at the levels, one is waiting in the wings in Tim's house, another soars in the house of the princess. You are ready? Then we are going to look.
Heavenly bodies
To collect all the stars, you will have to not only jump on levels. We will configure the course of time in separate areas, push enemies with the help of our own double and use a very real time.
This is important: Do not connect the third world puzzle if you want to get an alternative finale: it is in it that one of the so necessary stars lurks.
The first star
Before you go to search for this star, be patient. And weld the strong tea too: it will be very useful, because it will not be possible to spend less than two hours.
Is our star at the level of 2-2 The Cloud Bridge. In any way we climb onto the extreme right platform. Let me remind you that for this you need to use the impromptu site from the editor of the puzzle. However, we no longer need a monster: with two sites, Tim will be able to jump to the right place.
Got it? Great. Pay attention to the cloud that with an innocent look soars over the head of Tim. It is then that the brewed tea will come in handy for us. The fact is that the cloud does not soar at all – it flies to the left edge of the level. Only now it does it very slowly.
The whole path of the cloud takes just mentioned earlier for two hours. To climb on a leisurely “platform”, you can use the monster a little to the left. If you can’t return it to life, go out and go to the level through the right door, and then get to the very first gun. From it you can jump onto the locked gates, and from them to the cloud.
Now it remains to wait for him. It is clear that the game cannot be curtailed or paused, otherwise the cloud will instantly stop its unhurried flight. If you decide to jump on it with the help of a monster, then the moment of truth will come about half an hour later. The same who preferred the second option will have to wait for the cloud for eighty minutes longer. Take yourself with something, and then jump from the cloud right to the top of the cliff. The second star
Remember that I advised not to solve the puzzle of the third world? The second star is hiding in the house of Tim and does it with the skill of a real ninja.
Open the editor and carefully look at the pieces of the puzzle. See fragments of a star on two of them? Put these two pieces together so that the lower half of the star turns out. The upper is masked from us in that window that on the left. Combine the lower half with the upper – and now the real star shone at Tim at home.
Now another question arises: how to get to it? Tim can not jump to her in any way, and not a single chair was lying around in the whole house of our hero to stand on him. But the puzzle of the second world was lying on, on which a drawn platform, which we have already used more than once, is very successfully located. She will serve us now.
Pull it to you, let Tim stand on a non -existent site. And now carefully, millimeters, move the puzzle above and to the right. We need to jump on the shelf to the right of the hero.
This is important: It is impossible to use rewinding-for some reason the game considers the use of a puzzle with a cranes, and when rewinding, Tim simply falls with a ledge.
After the hero is on the shelf, it remains only to step to the star, and she is in our hands!
The third star
Another step in the alternative finale is located at 4-5 Movement by Degrees. It is advisable to go there through the right door – so we will be faster at the right place.
The star is hidden behind a puzzle with monsters at the top and bloodthirsty plants, in the event of a successful solution of which we received a piece of puzzle. You need to get to him this time. With the help of rewinding and movement in different directions, you need to draw a monster through all plants, and then jump onto the platform just higher.
We will stand there for five seconds, and then again repeat the above fraud described. The difference is that we will now meet the monster above, and after the jump we will get to the secret tier. It is also worth waiting for it a little, and then with the help of the same rewind to deliver another monster right to Tim's feet. Another jump – and we are at plants.
It remains only to reach the gun, to jump on the emerging monster and finally get a star.
The fourth star
Obtaining this star can get out of an impatient player. Almost all other stars require not how much trained fingers, so much accurate calculation, but with the fourth, the opposite. In addition, a quick reaction will also be required: we will again use our own enemies.
Our next trophy at the level of 4-7 Fickle Companion. Remember the only gun on it? Come to her and with one jump eliminate the monster below. Rewind … Now you need to stand right at the vent of the gun and constantly jump. No, I'm not joking: we need to bounce on the head of the newly emerging monster.
Succeeded? Now, using rewinding, stay in the air and wait for the next enemy. Another jump – and we are on the secret half of the level. The star is already visible behind the wall, but taking it now it will not work. We need a key that is at the very bottom.
What to do – you have to jump back. We take the key and go to the already familiar gun. We jump down; If a monster walks below, you have to throw it out of the level. Let's go a little to the left, and the time will go back – the key will be hanging in the air.
And now attention! Deadly number! Performed by Tim only once. Quickly rewind time back so as to be next to the key. For a couple of seconds, look in the jump on the platform on the right, and then return to the key again. Soon a monster will fly out of the gun, and then you can’t lose time. It is necessary to ensure that Tim does not jump onto him, but, on the contrary, is fake from below with rewinding. After such bullying, the monster will fly right (intercepting the key in the air), but we will catch it through the Shift key and there. Now you just need to push the monster again, and it will be on a secret tier with a key.
You think that is all? As if not. Now we need to intercept the key around the monster without killing it. It is relatively simple, and then problems begin. Behind the open door – the switch moving the wall on the left. If you go to the right, and then back, then the key will return to the starting position next to the monster from below. In the meantime, with the help of rewinding, we will open the wall to the enemy, and then again lower it.
We intercept the key, open the door upstairs … That's the long -awaited star.
Fifth star
The next luminary is waiting for us at the level of 5-4 Crossing The Gap. It is notable for the fact that for its receipt we will actively use the help of the shadow double of Tim. Let me remind you that the shadow of our hero gains independence only after rewinding. She repeats all your actions, and then evaporates.
At the very beginning of the level at the top there is a switch that controls the mobile platform. As soon as Tim gets to him, you will have to jump down and throw it off from the level of the monster walking below. We rewind the time and, while the shadow of our hero straightens out with the monster, activate the switch, and then we become a small ledge just below.
As soon as the monster appears over the head of Tim, you need to jump and push him upstairs. Our hero of such careless handling with himself, of course, will not survive – but we have his double. We rewind time, and the shadow will do all the work for us.
Now the monster will again be slightly above Tim. We repeat the above operation until the moment when the pretty sad monster does not knock on a small ledge on the platform with a piece of puzzle. If everything is done correctly, then he will unfold from the hopelessness of his position.
We also do not lose time – now we need to drive the monster on the platform on the left. As soon as he ends up there, jump to the gun. It remains only with the help of a newly -minted monster to jump higher, and then push away from the head of the very first enemy. Here is a star.
Sixth star
There was only a little left before the cherished alternative ending. The next star is hidden from Tim at 6-6 Impassable Folliage, and she is the second applicant for the not very honorary title “The most difficult star in Braid”. I warn you right away: be patient and sedative.
Remember the mystery already familiar to us “take a monster through bloodthirsty plants” at the end of the level? To get a piece of puzzle, we needed two monsters from the strength, but for the star they will need much more.
First of all, you need to climb on a platform with a piece of puzzle. To save time, I recommend using rewinding in order to conduct the three monsters through the plants we need. You can also “configure” the plants with the ring so that none of them can get to the monsters. In general, any solution to your taste.
Now, with the direct participation of the same Shift button, spend another enemy, and with it, get on the platform with plants. This is where the problems begin.
We need to jump onto the platform, which stands upstairs of a piece of puzzle. To do this, it will be necessary to carry out at least two monsters through plants, so that from the first monster we push off next to the bloodthirsty grass, and the second met Tim already on a ledge on the left. This is done in several stages.
• Put the ring next to the last plant and remove after a couple of seconds.
• We are standing for a while on the platform.
• We begin to rewind time so that two monsters are where we need.
• by means of monsters, we jump onto the desired platform.
If it does not work out the first time (and in most cases it will be), we repeat the entire cycle first. Sooner or later, the plants will be in the configuration we need, and the monsters will calmly pass along the corridor formed.
Now we go through a secret ledge … So, well, how to get to the star? But how: firstly, put the ring closer to the edge of the upper platform. Secondly, jump down. And thirdly, with the help of a ring that will slow down your fall, and rewinds are pushed away from three monsters from a gun. The star itself will joyfully jump in Tim in his hands.
Seventh star
Not so complicated trophy. The penultimate star is waiting for its hero at 6-6 Elevator Action. Before opening the door there, carefully study the habits of monsters-crolks-we will definitely need one of them.
We go to the level through the right https://sister-site.org/euphoria-wins/ door. Remember the combination of actions with which we received the last piece of puzzle at the level? Perform it and jump onto the platform next to the stairs.
We climb on it (Tim becomes slightly greenish because it is not subject to time) and rewind. As soon as the staircase is upstairs, let go of Shift, jump on it and again quickly activate the rewinding mode with maximum speed. Here is the secret part of the level.
A little to the left will have to jump down, by the beginning of the level. We need a rabbit that is waiting for Tim below. We go down on the elevator, and when the little animal (however, it is still mildly said) to pick it up, click the switch below and jump onto the lift. Now, without exaggeration, the most funny part of the level. We need to evade a small patch of the elevator from the attacks of the rabbit, and at the end of the trip to the pink monster, you have far from warm feelings.
As soon as Tim with a rabbit gets up, lure the beast a little to the right and put the ring. Now in slow time, you need to clearly guess the moment of jumping the rabbit from which Tim will push off and get upstairs. You need to jump on the animal somewhere in the middle of its jump.
Now we are going to the site, which is why Tim acquires an unhealthy swamp shade. Rewall the time – now that the rabbit jumps, you need to fall on it yourself. Two times. Will help us in this ring, which all this time obediently lay downstairs. Here is the star – it's time for the last level!
The eighth star
After we collected previous stars, all switches at the final level became flickering greenish. You will see – their "impenetration" is very useful in time.
We go through the level as usual, until Tim with our efforts will reach a broken lamp. When she starts to gather again, we jump on her. I will not spoil your pleasure – I will only add that the eighth star is waiting for the hero in the house of the princess.

Tim and stopwatch
After all the heavenly luminaries are collected, another unfinished business remains in the game: a quick passage regime. A special achievement is tied in the Live system, but it does not support it on BRAID computers, so the exciting Braid marathon for half an hour brings only moral satisfaction.
What is the difference between quick passage from normal? Now Tim is watching all the jumps and grimaces of Tim, which ruthlessly counts the so -called Challenge Time. Did not meet in a short time – you will have to try again. At the same time, it doesn’t matter to the timer all our twisting over time: neither rewinding nor slowdown in it. But we need to not only run the level from end to end, but also collect all pieces of puzzles!
Five levels from the base game are available for quick passage. If you want, you can try to defeat the whole game in some forty-five minutes. I will say right away – this is not as difficult as it seems, but it will require perseverance and a huge amount of free time.
Note: The current world record of the full passage of BRAID is 29 minutes.
Let's first consider several levels of five, and then I will give general recommendations on how to meet forty -five minutes when passing a full game.
Leap of Faith. Tim should run a level in a minute and five seconds. After the glowing numbers count for three seconds, quickly run to the switch. We turn it, and as soon as the monster is on a mobile platform, we do it again. The monster will fall down-there we use it to get a piece of puzzle.
Now you need to jump on the head of one of the "children of the gun". The trouble is that you need to do this on the first attempt, otherwise you can’t meet in any way in the calculated time. It didn't work out? Restation to help. After this obstacle falls the death of the brave, it remains only to climb the stairs (do not forget another piece of puzzle). At the end you should not rush: it is better to stand a couple of seconds than to be in the mouth of a bloodthirsty plant and lose precious time.
Jumpman. The stopwatch counts up to thirty -eight. After the reverse reference, we quickly run right and climb directly to the hospitable guns. Immediately jump to the left so as not to fall under the hot core, and then upstairs. From the second floor to the third we move through the stairs and grab the key and a piece of puzzle there.
In the most fast rewind mode, we return to the beginning of the level. With the help of monsters, we climb up, pick up another piece of puzzle, open the door and grab the last goal. On the finish line, it is better to pass the predatory grass from above, jumping from the nuclei.
Crossing the Gap. Tim should meet in forty -eight seconds. After already familiar flaming numbers, it is necessary, as usual, to get to the switch at the top. We activate it. We jump down, killing the monster, and unwind the time back before the moment we turned on the mobile platform. If everything is done correctly, then instead of a real bridge will appear ghostly.
As soon as a new enemy appears from the gun, it should be bounced up from it to the puzzle piece. There is only one road from there – down. We use a new monster (it is surprising that the ghostly bridge withstood it) to get another piece of puzzle.
The final chord is a monster's prying with the help of a double that we have already done in the base mode of the game.
As you can see, the solution of the examples considered is not very different from the passage without a stubborn timer. Actually, the main essence of the regime is not to invent a cunning quick decision at all. You just need to change some little things in the finished, and all the speedy passage of your feet. For example…
• sometimes (a striking example is at the level of Crossing the Gap) it is necessary to kill the monster with its shadow, jumping from a great height. My advice to you: the double will come true everything. It’s just enough to guess the right moment, jump into the monster and immediately rewind the time. The “other” Tim will neatly fall along the same trajectory and crush the monster. And you say – "repeats everything" ..
• The correct route is another key to victory. For example, at the Jumpman level, the standard solution involves the consistent receipt of all four pieces of puzzle. For high -speed mode, you need to go strictly the opposite. Sometimes to overcome the time plan, you need to jump over the entire level from end to end. We conclude: at first glance, the correct consistent route is far from always true.
• Precious seconds flow through the fingers even when Tim just throws another monster from the level. Enemies should be avoided: besides, sometimes they can help to achieve quick results.
• at the levels of Lair, where Tima awaits the monster (you can’t call this image in any way), use the enemy’s temperament against him. When the next lamp falls on the gear head, the monster falls into rabies and immediately runs to the other end of the screen. If Tim will wait for him there, then the second lamp on the ceiling will not linger. As soon as she falls, we will rewind the time – with proper dexterity, the horror story will again fall under the blow. It remains only to clamp the Shift key and set the rewinding speed of 8: this is how Tim will be at the whole lamp just at the moment when the boss runs under it.
