Miami, 1991. When his bloodthirsty urges can no longer be ignored, young Dexter Morgan must learn to channel his inner darkness as he transforms from student to vengeful serial killer under the tutelage of his father Harry. Christian Slater is older than James Remar was when Dexter first aired (2006). It was followed by Dexter: Resurrection (2025). This is really great. I’m 3 episodes in and I’m loving the ride so far. It gives off Dexter vibes early in the season and the cast is really good. It’s been a while and I’m surprised how many people I know. The young, awkward Dexter is great and it’s fun to watch him transform into the Dexter of season 1. It actually picks up after the latest season of Dexter, so if you haven’t seen it yet, be prepared for immediate spoilers when you start it. They’re advertising that it’s actually leading up to something called Dexter Resurrection, which is coming out this summer. Some people think Dexter should be allowed to die, but I love this new journey and can’t wait. I can’t wait for the next episode!
