Scenario
Growing up in the Amazon rainforest, Autumn meets the rarest of friendships – she discovers a lost jaguar cub named Hope. When a tragic event forces Autumn to leave Hope for the unknowns of New York, she spends years dreaming of returning to the rainforest and her boyfriend. At the age of 14, Autumn, accustomed to city life, discovers that her childhood village is under threat from animal smugglers and decides that she must return to the Amazon with her beloved jaguar. Anja (Emily Bett Rickards), Autumn’s delightfully clumsy biology teacher, tries unsuccessfully to talk her out of this reckless plan. Anja joins Autumn to reunite with Hope and save her from those who want to destroy the rainforest and its wildlife.
