Growing up in the Amazon rainforest, Autumn has a rare friendship – she finds a lost jaguar cub named Hope. When a tragic event forces Autumn to abandon Hope for the unknown in New York, she dreams of returning to the rainforest and her friend for years to come. 14-year-old Sarath, accustomed to city life, finds her childhood village under threat from animal smugglers and decides she must return to the Amazon to her beloved jaguar. Anja (Emily Bett Rickards) – Autumn’s lovably dorky biology teacher – tries unsuccessfully to talk her out of this reckless plan. Autumn joins Anja on a journey to reunite with Hope and save her from those who are trying to destroy the rainforest and its wildlife.
