It appeals to the civic responsibility of the viewer and forces them to confront the limits of their own solidarity. Hovik Keuchkerian’s character, Zamyatin, is named after Yevgeny Zamyatin (also known as Eugene Zamyatin), a Russian naval engineer and writer, best known for his hugely influential and widely imitated 1921 dystopian science fiction novel “We,” set in a futuristic police state.
It follows “The Platform” (2019)
Like most people, I really, really liked the first one, in fact it is on my personal “top” movies of all time. In this case, I am reminded of the maxim “When history needs explaining, it is because it has been badly told”… So in my opinion, this was a pathetic and unnecessary sequel.
I’m so confused by the story at the end
Few movies have disappointed me as much as this one, I value my time spent with movies and other forms of art, but this experience left me unsatisfied. I wasn’t as excited, and yet the end result was a disaster.
I really don’t understand why the same people who made the first one wanted to do the same with this one
