Hovik Keuchkerian’s character, Zamyatin, is named after Yevgeny Zamyatin (also known as Eugene Zamyatin), a Russian naval engineer and writer, best known for his hugely influential and widely imitated 1921 dystopian science fiction novel “We,” set in a futuristic police state.
It follows “The Platform” (2019)
Like most people, I really, really liked the first one, in fact it is on my personal “top” movies of all time. In this case, I am reminded of the maxim “When history needs explaining, it is because it has been badly told”… So in my opinion, this was a pathetic and unnecessary sequel.
I’m so confused by the story at the end
Few movies have disappointed me as much as this one, I value my time spent with movies and other forms of art, but this experience left me unsatisfied. I wasn’t as excited, and yet the end result was a disaster.
