During season 8, Angel Batista was not always played by David Zayas. His son David Zayas Jr. stands in for his father in some shots, as the two look very similar. During season 1, Dexter has a large scar on his left side. Later in season 2, the scar has moved to the right side, leaving the left side featureless. This will be my first IMDb review, not a day goes by that I don’t go on IMDb to check reviews of movies or TV shows I’m watching, I watch a lot of movies and TV shows. For the first time in my life I couldn’t fall asleep after watching a series. I’ve seen the breakout, heroes and more. Prison Break and Heroes season 1 were amazing. They inspired me so much that I got tattoos on my body. However, both of these series get discontinued as soon as they move to the next season. Heroes was a huge disappointment but DEXTER… OMG episode after episode makes me so interested in the next episode… damn season 4. I couldn’t sleep the whole night after watching it. I spent the weekend watching the episodes one after another. To start with Dexter (Michael C. Hall) his darkness was beyond the limit, he played the role so well that sometimes I wonder if he is the same in real life but then I found out that Debra Morgan (Jennifer Carpenter) is his real wife herself who plays his sister in this series. Damn Debra is such a confusing character and mostly controlled by the people around her, she always does something wrong but always gets credit for the good things too. I like the part where you find out what is going on. Dexter thinks when he thinks about something or when someone talks to him, including the part where he talks to his dead father Harry. (just think about what his father would say in that situation). All the episodes/characters and all the seasons are so well written and acted that it is hard to find a fault. My favorite characters are Dexter (pretty obvious), Rita and Vince Masuka, Vince is so funny, he only says one word. during his entire episode and it is so damn funny. I can’t wait for season 5 and I’m sure anyone who has seen Dexter feels the same way. (I apologize if my first review contains errors and hurts anyone’s feelings.)
