I started to like films where I can see other people’s lives. People doing everyday things. When they are set in other cultures – even more interesting. Here we follow the life of an elderly woman in Iran and I was so touched by the beauty of the small things, the dinner with her friends, how she spends her day. The film hides an unexpected surprise that really stuck with me for a long time. It made me realize that I could watch this film and that I could live (as a woman) in Europe. I can recommend this film.
