Blake, "OBE" is incorrectly explained as “Overtaken by Events” In US
government agencies, including the intelligence community and the Department of Defense, "OBE" is “Overcome by Events.” The opening sequence introduces the characters and scenes of the series interspersed with mirror panels. Former CIA counterintelligence director James Jesus Angleton, aka “the poet-spy”, described the intelligence game as a “wilderness of mirrors”, a term borrowed from a poem by T.S. Eliot. He called it Gerontion (the title is Greek for “little old man”, and the poem is an interior monologue with the opinions and impressions of an old man, describing post-World War I Europe through the eyes of a man who has lived most of his life in the 19th century). In the world of intelligence, in the search for truth, it is difficult to distinguish between reality and its reflection, an illusion, if you will, as if in a “hall of mirrors”.

Norton stars: Cher/Keira Knightley/Michael Fassbender/Josh Brolin/Jalen Ngonda (2024). The highlight of The Agency is Michael Fassbender, a great actor who has made a convincing return home after being undercover for so long. I give the acting as a whole an 8/10. Even the minor characters have done a good job so far (apart from the smallest characters trying to figure things out). The story is nothing new, but there are several storylines that intertwine, and at the end of episode 2, it’s not yet clear where it’s going.
The soundtrack is good
. So, that’s a good thing, because it’s unpredictable. Nice touch with the song -Love is Blindness. You can see that a good budget went into it, of course it’s obvious in the case of the film’s actors, but more so because of the locations chosen and the filming of some of the action scenes. It seemed like a good movie.
I’m looking forward to the next one
I really enjoyed it, although I may be biased, Michael Fassbender is one of my favorite actors.
