Synopsis
On an empty road in the middle of the night, Shula stumbles upon her uncle’s body. As the funeral begins around them, she and her relatives uncover the buried secrets of her middle-class Zambian family, in director Rungan Nyoni’s surreal and vivid account of the lies we tell ourselves.
