Install 4. Copy the contents of the DVD’s SKIDROW folder to the /pc/ folder inside the main installation directory and overwrite 5. Play the game Additional Notes: If you used one of those pirated demo cracks, make sure to start a new game, as your old saves will crash the game. The main reason: it won’t work is because those “cracks” are modified demo exe’s. Support companies whose software you actually like. Good job Valve for the CEG update, but as you can see it didn’t help much.
