The townscape was built specifically for the series in North Beaver Bank, Nova Scotia
Synopsis
Solve the mystery of a town in the central United States that imprisons all who enter it. As the townspeople struggle to maintain a sense of normalcy and search for a way out, they must also survive the threats of the surrounding forest.
All that remains are cobblestone streets and driveways, upon which a mock town has been built
The location known as Beaver Bank Villa has a long history, and many years ago housed residences, a community hall, fire station, school, church, convenience store, etc. (all demolished in 2004) to support workers at a nearby military radar base that operated in the 1950s and 1960s.

When Boyd heads toward a distant tree, he finds himself at the bottom of a well. The rope is thrown at him (presumably) by Martin, though his wrists are chained.
You’ll watch the first two episodes, and maybe you’ll enjoy the whole season like I did
Que Sera, Sera (Whatever Will Be, Will Be) Writer: Jay Livingstone and Ray Evans Cast: The Pixies. If you enjoyed the early seasons of Stay Alive, the beginning of Wayward Pines season 1 when it was still mysterious, Society, the early days of The Walking Dead, etc., I think it’s worth watching at least a seven-day free trial of MGM Plus.
As others have mentioned, I felt the need to watch it all from start to finish in a few sittings, which is something I haven’t felt like doing with a show in a long time
As others have also noted, the acting for some minor characters is a bit lacking, the budget is definitely lower than I wanted but not by much, and the plot could possibly come to a dead end, but at this point I’m still looking forward to season 2.
