Although the Dutch were a little socially awkward, the two couples got along very well, and upon returning home, Tafdrup received an invitation to Holland from a Dutch family. He thought about it briefly, but decided that it would feel weird to hang out with people he didn’t really know; His story for the film came about when he unleashed his darkest fantasies about what might happen if he accepted (claiming that the original Dutch couple never gave off bad vibes). A holiday abroad with my wife and daughter leads to friendship (with another family of three), when you go out for a sunny walk, a card comes home, come and see how well we bloom, we spend a night or three inside, bricks and mortar. Accept the invitation and hit the road without knowing how this couple likes to spend their time or even how they behave, and the testimonials they desire could cause ridicule if you did. It’s fair to say that your date is like no other, it doesn’t end up like a Danish brother (or sister), which is a shame because it was better, unleashed.
