Synopsis
Emilia Perez follows four extraordinary women in Mexico, each in search of her own happiness. Cartel leader Emilia enlists Rita, an under-appreciated lawyer, to help her fake her death so she can finally live authentically as her true self. Karla Sofia Gascon discusses the two years of preparation it took for this demanding role in Jacques Audiard’s film, and the two extremes of her own personality she had to portray as Emilia and Manitas. Jacques Audiard said he was inspired for the idea for the musical by a chapter in a novel about a drug lord who longs to change his identity. The Pleading Written by Camille (as C. Dalmais), Clément Ducol, and Jacques Audiard Starring Zoe Saldana. Plain and simple, no pun intended. I’m not sure if you’ve seen the trailer or are familiar with this case. But we do have the case of a criminal… we don’t see much of him or rather his evil side…
but how dangerous is he?
It’s clear that he’s a criminal and he’s feared… We can only guess, we’re probably right. How does that person become so…? Well, Zoe Saldana’s character (Rita) seems to be in love with this person. And even though she will change, something a doctor says… the one who helps with part of that change (a big part) says: if someone is a wolf…
but this is a musical
changing the physical appearance will not change that person… that person will still be a wolf. Now, the trailer doesn’t really give it away… after Joker 2, another musical surprise… way better than the other one (as evidenced by the rating here, not just mine). The acting is amazing and almost makes you forget how cruel that person obviously was…

We get another “enemy”… and we get a softer side to this horrible person… I had issues with that portrayal… maybe you think the person is and should get another chance… just keep in mind that you may have conflicting feelings about all of this… There’s no need to waste your time endlessly scrolling – here’s the complete list of new movies and TV shows streaming on Netflix this month.
